Privacy policy / External transmission policy
This policy describes how Nihonbashi AI Lab (the Lab) handles personal information, cookies, and externally transmitted data on the website nihonbashi.ai and related services. The Japanese version of this policy is the authoritative text; this English version is provided for convenience.
1. Information we collect
To understand how visitors use the site and to improve our services, the website automatically collects:
- Pages viewed (URL, time on page, referrer)
- Buttons and links clicked (CTAs, navigation)
- Device information (browser, OS, screen size)
- IP address (used in anonymized form)
2. External transmission (per Japan’s amended Telecommunications Business Act)
Collected information may be transmitted to the following external services:

The Google Gemini API is operated by Google LLC in the United States, and data may be processed in US regions. We use the paid tier of the Gemini API, where data is not used for model training by default.
Resend is an email delivery service operated by Plus Five Five, Inc. in the United States, and data is processed there.
3. Cookies
Google Analytics 4 uses cookies for analysis. If you prefer not to allow cookies, you can disable them in your browser settings (for example: Chrome settings → Privacy and security → Cookies).
4. Personal information
Personal information collected through the contact form (name, email address, and similar) is used only to respond to your inquiry and to provide information about the Lab’s services. It is not provided to third parties.
To deliver services, respond to inquiries, and store estimate results, we may process and store information using the external services listed above.

6. Revision history
- May 24, 2026 — First published (external transmission policy covering GA4 / Cloudflare Web Analytics / Formrun / Supabase)
- June 21, 2026 — Removed references to Google Cloud Speech-to-Text following the decision not to adopt voice intake; limited the stated use of the Gemini API to the estimate and chat features
- July 24, 2026 — Added the AI help chat to the external transmission policy: conversation content and session IDs are stored, then deleted automatically after 90 days
- July 26, 2026 — Stated that conversation content from the AI help chat is also sent to the Gemini API, and clarified when the 90-day retention period starts (from the beginning of the conversation)
- August 31, 2026 — Added Google Maps Platform (maps, geocoding, and business lookup in the operator’s admin features) to the external transmission policy
- October 4, 2026 — Updated the list of external recipients to match the current setup: inquiry data is now listed under Supabase and Resend, Cloudflare Web Analytics is removed, Google Fonts is added, and the data sent to each recipient is described in more detail
